Astral's sophisticated technologies and advanced alarms simplify life for caregivers and patients. Systems have been thoughtfully designed so, whatever setup is chosen, users can feel confident, comfortable and protected.
Astral is equipped with a set of fixed and adjustable alarms to bring patients and carers to attention when needed. The dedicated disconnection alarm has also been modified for optimised patient setup and customisation.
For clinicians and caregivers alike, Astral is easy to operate due to its intuitive interface and user-friendly features, including big button feature, program naming options and guided setup assistant.
We make life support ventilation straightforward and efficient, which means less time spent on new device training and more time for patient care.
Complete with nine different therapy modes, including iVAPSTM, Astral is well suited to many care environments. Offering single leak, single valve and double limb circuits, and compatible with various patient interfaces, Astral caters for a wide range of patient types - from adults to paediatric patients weighing as little as 5 kg.
It is an ideal choice for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), obesity hypoventilation syndrome (OHS), neuromuscular disease (NMD), spinal cord conditions or chest wall disorders.
Through the ResMed Connectivity Module (RCM), Astral can connect to AirViewTM, a ResMed patient monitoring tool, giving you access to key patient data.3
Now you can collaborate more efficiently with your fellow clinicians, as well as other homecare providers and physicians to optimise patient care with Astral connectivity to AirView.
Offering simple, yet sophisticated ventilation technologies, ResMed Astral is designed to provide portable, easy to use ventilation for patients with a wide range of respiratory disorders.
