What is a CPAP machine trial?

A CPAP trial is a great way to try CPAP without the need to purchase your own machine and mask. A ResMed CPAP machine trial provides you with the chance to experience CPAP therapy and see if it feels right for you.

Why trial a CPAP machine?

Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) therapy treats sleep apnea. It may also improve your daily energy levels and help you feel more like yourself again.

What are the benefits of CPAP treatment?

By continuing to use your sleep apnea treatment regularly, you’re making an important decision to take control of your health, your well-being and your life.

You’ll gain a number of benefits from CPAP treatment:

If you snore, your snoring will stop or markedly reduce, which means your partner will enjoy a more peaceful night’s sleep too
You should be able to look forward to more restful, less disturbed sleep yourself and to waking up with more energy and focus
Added benefits to your long term health may include improved cognitive function, mood, performance at work, family relationships and enjoyment of life1,2
People with untreated sleep apnea also complain of dizziness, shortness of breath and chest discomfort, which is often reduced when their sleep apnea is treated3,4
When you have sleep apnea you may be too tired to exercise. Obese people who are treated for sleep apnea have reported that they gained more energy, which may then help them exercise and lose weight.5 And weight loss itself may improve your sleep apnea6
